The winter break for Nashville and surrounding areas is on the horizon and it is the perfect time to celebrate the season. There’s So Much Christmas at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. Gaylord Opryland is the perfect holiday destination or if you’re local plan your staycation to make some wonderful memories! We were hosted by Gaylord Opryland; thoughts are my own.
We spent by countless hours playing and Gaylord Opryland has over 17 hours of holiday fun. Many activities are located at Pinetop Village but you will find So Much Christmas throughout the entire resort!
ICE! featuring Frosty the Snowman™️
ICE! featuring Frosty the Snowman™️ a beloved 22-year holiday tradition is back at Gaylord Opryland Resort until Jan. 4, 2025. Over 2 million pounds of ice has been transformed into scenes from the holiday classic Frosty the Snowman™️ by 40 worldclass artisans from Harbin, China. When entering ICE!, visitors will embark on a magical journey alongside the famous snowman who came to life. The attraction, kept at a chilly 9˚, includes 11 immersive walkthrough scenes, larger-than life ice sculptures, awe-inspiring passageways, and photo-worthy moments the entire family can enjoy.
Before coming to this event, I highly suggest layering up with whatever you have at home. We wore long johns, sweaters, tube socks, hats, and gloves. They will provide guest with their signature blue parkas to help keep you warm. Soon as we entered, we were hit with the crisp cold air and beautiful colored ice from scenes of the story. The ice slides are not to be missed. Juliette was brave enough to test it out and love it. It was amazing to see Frosty the Snowman™️characters with larger-than-life sculptures.
Ice Tubing
Gaylord Opryland has created the prefect ice slides for the most wonderful time of year. We did not get much snow growing up so I never got to experience sliding down a hill during winter time. Luckily, their Ice Tubing slides has plenty of it! It has four lanes perfect for racing with family and friends. The Ice Tubing wristbands are good for all day once purchased and comes with unlimited rides.
Bumper Cars & Snowball Build & Blast
The bumper cars are so much fun. I could not really control where we were going. However, the kids loved it. Small children can ride with an adult. The bumper cars light up and spin around at random. This activity was exciting to do under the stars. Now, who does not like throwing snow balls? There are multiple holes where you can aim to blast the snowballs you build. This was one is a family favorite.We were all motivated to hit at least 1 in the holes. This one each of us got a little competitive but a great time was had.
Relâche Spa
I had an chance to get away for some quiet me time while kids had breakfast with daddy. I was smiling the whole walk to this award winning spa. I had the Ultimate Indulgence Pedicure, this 80 minute experience is known as the true recipe to soothe your soles. I was offered a warm neck wrap and a pineapple mimosas. From the moment I was in the chair for service to relaxing while my polish dried I was in total peace.
Gingerbread Decorating Corner
Whether you are decorating Gingerbread Houses or Snowman Cookies, it’s going to be fun time. The area is perfectly located in the Delta Island near the fountains. The kids got into a flow full of creativity. You never know who may stop by to say hello and wish you a Merry Christmas!
