My family and I made it to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee during Winterfest which is happening until February 19. If the cold temps aren’t your vibe then plan your Spring Break and Summer getaway now. I have the perfect place for you that your entire family would love! It’s Camp Margaritaville RV Resort and Lodge in Pigeon Forge! We we’re hosted during the visit but all thoughts/opinions are my own.
Camp Margaritaville, is the ultimate destination for RV travel enthusiast and was voted best campground in the Best of Pigeon Forge. Now I know you’re thinking, but Tiarra I don’t have an RV! Guess what? Neither do we, we stayed in the Lodge and loved every minute of it!

Driving up to the property gave us the feeling that we’re about to escape from the tourist attractions and connect with some quality family time. The staff were kind and attentive. We stayed in the deluxe room with twin beds. We love this room because the twin beds have zippers in the bedding, there’s a mounted TV plus its in a separate area.

The main room is huge with a sitting area, 50” flat-screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, Keuriq coffee maker and more. Our room was on the facing the lazy river and we had a nice view of the mountains. Some rooms have balconies and there’s pet-friendly rooms too.
In the morning we ate at Fins Breakfast Buffet. The cheese grits were my favorite and I don’t like grits but they made me have a change of heart. There are many things on the menu to please even the pickiest eater.
Don’t even bother wastin’ away just yet because there’s plenty of fun things to do. They have Pickleball Courts, Pool recreation area with a double loop water slide and kid’s zone, a hot tub, fire pit, kid’s playground, Barkaritaville Pet Park and Joe Merchant’s Provisions Camp Store.
Fin City Entertainment Center, is the place where everyone’s face lights up! Its located on the lower level with a full arcade, duckpin bowling, Billiards, foosball table, dart lanes and more. They have planned activities each day for example, Uno with the staff, adult painting, kid friendly activities and bed time stories to name a few. They also have live entertainment, outdoor games and a group bonfire area. The kids loved the arcade. We spent a lot of our time in there playing games and being just a tad bit on the competitive side.
After all that fun, we worked up an appetite. Downstairs, you can check out the Feeding Frenzy Snack Shack and Bar. We decided to head upstairs to Fins Bar & Chill Restaurant. The dining space is huge and the bar is in a separate area. The vibe is laid-back and they have a creative twist on their menu items. The food was delicious and the service was awesome!

Do you see why we like Camp Margaritaville so much? Once we were there, we did not have to leave for food or entertainment. If your trying to make it in time for Winterfest many of the Christmas trees may be put away, but there are still many gorgeous twinkling lights throughout the Smoky Mountains.

However, any time you visit The Smoky Mountains I hope you’ll check out, Camp Margaritaville RV Resort & Lodge!
