The Splash Pad at Peay Park officially opened for the Summer of 2020 June 22 with Covid-19 social distancing guidelines for safety. When the splash pad opened in late August 2019, Juliette just turned 1. She was not walking at the time so we decided to wait until Summer 2020 to join the fun.Continue reading “Summer Fun For Kids 2020 – The Splash Pad at Peay Park in Goodlettsville, TN”
Happy Monday! This week on our social media I will be sharing some of my favorite moments of being a Mom so far on my Motherhood voyage. Being a Mom has been one of life’s greatest joys for me. It’s funny because, when Johnathan and I tied the knot on March 25, 2017 I told him I wanted to wait about 3 years before having children so we could enjoy one another as a married couple. His response: “Haven’t you enjoyed enough of us time while we dating! I’m ready to start a family. I’ve always wanted to be a Dad.”Continue reading “How We Planned For Our Baby: My Voyage To Motherhood”
I’m excited to have the opportunity to review the Coast Rider Stroller. If you’ve seen Juliette’s walker or playpen guess what it’s from Dream On Me. The Coast Rider Stroller is an awesome choice for parents on the go and can be used beginning at 6 months of age.Continue reading “Review: Dream On Me – Coast Rider Stroller”
After seeing the Dékor Hands-Free Diaper Pail at Gearapalooza in Nashville, TN I’ve been dreaming of owning one. So when I received the opportunity to test it out I was immediately over the moon! Did you know that parents and caretakers will change 6,000-9,000 diapers before their child is potty trained?Continue reading
Thanks for watching!
We received the Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag from Love To Dream. These are my own thoughts based off my experience using the Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag.
We’ve used many swaddles since Juliette came home from the hospital. She had a startle reflex like no other. We wanted to provide her the comfort of being wrapped in our arms however, while sleeping in her crib that would be impossible. Her safety is our priority. We like to use the ABC’s of Safe Sleep.Continue reading
We never would’ve imagined that our daughter’s skin would be sensitive. Within her first two weeks of Juliette begin to have a diaper rash. We changed her diapers constantly and we tried of various baby wipes since we had a variety of brands from our baby shower. None of them worked for Juliette’s skin. We ended up using around 12-15 wash cloths with a bowl of warm water to be a gentle as possible during her diaper changes.Continue reading
Our daughter Juliette first birthday was approaching and we wanted to celebrate with family, friends and fun! Her party theme was “A Whole New World” from Aladdin. It’s also the song she came into this world too with my push playlist playing in the background. I wanted Aladdin party decor, a milestone picture banner and what’s a party without balloons! I didn’t want a usual helium filled balloon bundles I wanted a garland. I’ve always seen gorgeous balloon displays at events, but did I ever think I could make one myself? No! Not until I found Junibel Inc.Continue reading
Road trips are meant to be fun right? I personally love taking them every chance I get. I like packing up, wearing my sunglasses and singing songs on the highway like I’m the artist on stage while driving to my destination. It was all so simple before our daughter Juliette was born. Now I try my best to plan it all out before hitting the road.Continue reading
Everyone who knows me already know I love concerts. The first concert I attended was non other than Ms. Patti LaBelle at 5 years old. I can remember seeing Patti kick off her high heel shoes, get on her knees and roll around singing. That was back when R&B music was real and made sense. I grew up listening to artist like Earth, Wind & Fire, Debarge, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Marvin Gaye, Tammi Terrell, Diana Ross, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, The Gap Band and countless others that I adore. I knew I would bring Juliette to shows with me at an early age.Continue reading
